Cheap vs. Expensive RC Racing Cars

Today a Sakura Zero 2010 with cheap electronics ($30 Surpass 17.5 motor, $15 Tsky esc, $20 Bluebird esc) beat out much more expensive 2018 Yokomo, Awesomatix, Xray and Team Magic. Driven by Porsha... girl. It was a six A-main race, and she alternated between her tuned 2018 Xray and the cheap Sakura Zero. Using Xray (A1 win, A3 2nd) and Sakura Zero (A3 2nd, A4 Win, A5 Win, A6 Win) for the overall win.

My son decided to challenge his older sister Porsha to an rc rally race. Surprisingly he managed to beat her a couple of times. Nice way to spend a nice Sunday afternoon. :D

Here is the start of the A-main of the 2018 Philippine Masters. Super fast are the professional drivers such as Hara, Ongaro and Ronnefalk. If you want to be a professional rc driver and become world champion, you will have to be faster than these guys :)

Above is my 1/10 Tamiya M-chassis M05m mini rc car with a Suzuki Swift body painted to look like an Adidas shoe. I just though I would make competitors laugh and distract their driving so that I could win haha :D
