Racing RC Cars is Fun

The 2010 Tamiya Asia Cup was so much fun. Three days of racing inside a mall in front of thousands of people. Racing against the best Tamiya drivers from 7 Asian countries. Then the party afterwards.

What made this event the best in my 32 years in the hobby is that my 9 year old daughter made the Philippine Team and was my teammate in the Mini Class.

Racing radio control cars is a family event.

Tamiya FF03 vs M05 - TRF Driver vs 9 year old girl

Here is a fun race between Tamiya TRF driver Jilles Groskamp and my 9 year old daughter Porsha.


My daughter started racing rc cars a few months ago. She did well in her first international race finishing 15th overall in the Tamiya Mini M-chassis class against the best racers from 7 Asia countries.
