Nitro vs. Electric R/C Cars
In on-road touring, there are similiarities and differences between a nitro rc car and an electric powered radio controlled car.
Left is my ever trusty 1/10 Neo nitro touring which has won me the 1999 and 2007 Futaba Cup championship. Right is my 1/10 Tamiya 416WE electric rc that I race in the 13.5T brushless class.
So which is better? If racing around a track for 5 minutes, then electric rc cars are probably faster. But if it is a 1 hour race, then definitely the nitro will win. And if it is about realism and excitment, nothing beats the sound and smell of a gas engine.
And for me, I love them both!

I'm just curious, how much the nitro car on the left cost?
